I’m Fluffy. It’s what my family has always called me, and it’s where the name of this site came from.
For more than forty years I’ve cooked for the people in my house. Not restaurant food, and nothing fancy. Big pots of soup, a roast that takes all day, the kind of dinner that feeds whoever turns up and still leaves something for tomorrow. Most of what’s on this site came out of that kitchen, written down the way I actually make it.
Some of these were handed down and adjusted over the years until they worked. Those live under old tyme recipes. The rest are what I’ve come to rely on since, mostly the slow cooker and the Instant Pot.
If a recipe on here mentions my son, that’s him. He’s the reason some of these portions are the size they are.
My son Mike runs the site now, so the recipes don’t end up lost in a drawer.
