Cube Steak Stew
Here’s my cube steak stew recipe, a perfect recipe for when you have a bunch of extra meat around and want to throw it all in for a nice stew!
Sometimes you really don’t have all that much time to make a giant meal for everyone, but at the same time want to make something hearty that feeds a big family. No problem. Just break out the steak and make some cube steak stew. This will usually feed a group of 6.
When I was a young mother I found it somewhat difficult to feed a family night in and night out so I started doing “shortcut” meals where I just threw the stuff I had together in a pot and made a stew. This is one such meal because it was perfectly suited to having extra meat and just cutting it up really fast and throwing it in a pot. That’s why it’s called cube steak stew!
This recipe is for a hearty stew that will yield a large amount of stew so it’s perfect for a large family or a side dish for a party. Even though this recipe is quick to prepare the taste and flavor is out of this world! Based on the reactions of my own family to this meal, I find it highly likely that your own family will love it as well!
Serve up a hot piping bowl of stew for your family today and they will be asking from here on out, “Hey, can we have that stew for dinner mom!”
